Hi again everyone!
So sorry for the double update!
I should've looked before and checked BackerKit, but it looks like orders with pins have been marked as Partially Shipped. So yes, the pins are shipping separately. I assume this was done so that the books could get media mail rates (when you add anything that isn't media to a media mail shipment, it no longer counts as media mail!).
BackerKit is shipping orders from North America and Rest of the World (excluding EU). But they haven't finished processing all shipments yet, so no worries if you haven't received your book yet. If you have a question about your order and you are NOT in the EU, please contact BackerKit directly.
Okay, I think that covers everything!

Books are arriving!

So nice to see people getting their books! And so far I've only heard good things from the people who have started reading. This makes me incredibly happy.
Just some admin:
- Lots of you are asking where your pins are, and the answer is I don't know. BackerKit sent out all North American orders and I guess they're shipping the pins separately? Sorry, I wasn't aware they were doing this. As it's Sunday, I won't get a response from them until tomorrow, but as soon as I do, I'll let you know!
- UK/Europe books are STILL stuck at customs. The form I had to fill out asked for a freight agent, and then said, "If you don't have a freight agent, put NONE." I put NONE. And then two days later, they sent me an email asking for my freight agent. So I put myself. But that was on Friday, and now I have to wait another three business days for them to get back to me. UGH. Sorry about this!

The books are stuck at UK customs!

Hello everyone!
Just an update to say the books that are shipping out to backers in Europe are stuck at UK customs and I'm waiting on approval of my EORI form to go through. Not sure how long it will take, but hopefully not too long!
The books for US backers should not get stuck at customs and should hopefully be arriving at BackerKit soon.
I'm going to send out the digital versions of Becoming Dangerous today. The download will come with a PDF, an EPUB, and a .mobi file for Kindle users. If you have any problems with the download, send me a message! It will come through BackeKit so be on the lookout!

Apparently. They were supposed to be here by noon, which was three hours ago. Hm, we shall see I guess.
Hopefully the US books arrive at BackerKit today!

Hello everyone,
Just a quick note to let you know I've heard from the printer and they're sending the books out to me and to BackerKit on March 14. Once they arrive to me here in the UK and BackerKit in SF, we'll be packing them up and shipping them out to you!
Later than anticipated, but not long now!
